Sign In and Account Setup
Sign in to IAN Think with your Xceedance SSO credentials.
What happens here
You sign in with your Xceedance corporate credentials. Then you're done with this part. Click a button, start talking to AI. No account creation. No setup wizard. No 47 configuration screens.
Before you start
- Have your Xceedance p-number and password ready
- Have your MFA device nearby (phone, security key, or authenticator app)
- Use a browser that's not from 2005
- That's it
How to sign in
IAN Think uses Xceedance SSO (Single Sign-On) exclusively. Your corporate identity is your IAN identity â no separate accounts to create.
- Go to https://think.ian.xceedance.com/
- Click "Sign In" â you'll be redirected to the Xceedance SSO portal
- Enter your p-number and password
- Complete multi-factor authentication (MFA) if prompted â use your phone, security key, or authenticator app
- You're in. Go chat with AI.
âšī¸ First time? Your account needs to be provisioned by your admin before you can sign in. If you see "access denied" or "user not found," ask your manager or IT department to request IAN Think access for you.
After you sign in
You'll see the IAN Think dashboard. It's simple:
- "New Chat" button (left sidebar) â Click to start talking to AI
- Your recent chats on the left â Click any to pick up where you left off
- Settings (bottom of sidebar) â For preferences like theme and notifications
That's the whole thing. You don't need to configure anything. No API keys to find. No accounts to create. Just... use it.
Account stuff (if you care)
Click Settings at the bottom of the left sidebar to:
- Change your theme â Switch between light and dark mode
- Update notification preferences â Control what alerts you receive
- Download all your data â "Privacy" section (processed in 24 hours)
âšī¸ Password and MFA changes are managed through your company's SSO portal or IT department, not within IAN Think.
Troubleshooting
"SSO sign-in isn't working"
- Make sure you're entering your p-number, not your email address
- Have your MFA device nearby (phone, security key, authenticator app)
- Clear browser cookies for
think.ian.xceedance.comand the SSO domain, then try again - Try an incognito/private window â rules out stale cached sessions
- Check if SSO works for other Xceedance tools â if other tools also fail, the issue is your SSO account, not IAN Think
"I forgot my password" or "I lost my MFA device"
Your credentials are managed by your company's IT department, not by IAN Think.
- Forgot password â Use your organization's SSO self-service portal or contact IT
- Lost MFA device â Contact your IT department for a reset or temporary bypass
"It says 'access denied' or 'user not found'"
Your account may not be provisioned for IAN Think yet.
- Ask your manager or IT department to request IAN Think access for you
- Once provisioned, sign out and back in to pick up the new permissions
- If you've been provisioned and it still doesn't work, clear your browser cache and cookies, then try again

- Make sure you're on the correct VPN if required by your organization
- Try a different browser or an incognito/private window
- Disable ad blockers and privacy extensions temporarily
If the site is down for everyone, it's a service outage â wait 30 minutes and try again. Contact support if it persists.
